Ughh falling sick sucks but luckily for me the fever came and went quick so yeah i got well yesterday and felt up to it today so i went to school for B.E.A.T.S. prac.
Awww sad that the farewell performance will be the last performance B.E.A.T.S. has this year, we'll def continue on next year! :D

after that me yifan yishu and ben went to watch yesman which is like so HAHAHAHAHA awesome that my awesome-meter can't measure it.

damn i can rmb the scene where he plays the guitar to get this guy from jumping down and it worked which like sparked the memory of the phrase "music can delay death" -__- stupid lah see what wycf does to your brain. the grandma scenes are extremely disturbing though, won't talk about it here cause of the non-male audience this blog suddenly has to cater to @_@

great movie, but practically speaking being a yesman wouldn't actually work out cause you'll either need a) ass full of cash and/or b) balls of steel. i mean everyone has to be afraid of SOMETHING and no one has cash that will never run out except maybe our ministers, still it's a very thought provoking movie and kinda motivational that coupled with jim carrey's genius makes the movie extremely enjoyable, like bruce almighty.

yeah then went all the way to ikea (tampines one lah i'm not that siao to go all the way to queenstown when i live in simei) and bought some stuff, gotta say i think i spent my first paycheck of $90 kinda wisely :D ohohoh and i finally bought a puzzle frame for this puzzle which i did super early in the year and had been rotting under my bed. what irks me is how puzzle world (the shop) charges FULL 7% gst which made the $29 frame end up being $31. lucky for them i'm uber-rich and handsome so i can patronize their store and not complain, handsome people always very kind to the needy.

yeah manzxzxzx, iitS `~*[wInnI3 tH p00h]*~`` w0rHzxzXZzXZX ^^//"~ ((Y) hi5 kwok yeong/fake twits! :D)
yah yah i know, sorry about the super lousy resolution that my phone-cam provides, i don't camwhore so i don't really care how lousy my phone's camera is.

on that note i'm going to wait patiently till next year when the Nokia N97 comes out before i change my phone to that even though my phone's 2 year contract expired in november O: N97 is going to be super cool but i'm not that sure about the price yet D:

oh and one last thing:

coke light PLUS GREEN TEA. AWESOME PAWSOME INNIT.

siala, woke up at frigging 5am this morning can you believe it D:
all for the sake of work, which thankfully, was kinda slack and fun.

i gotta say Melt pwns Banquet cause it's so much more slack and fun, and it's so much easier to kope food to eat as compared to banquet HAHA XD drank like 2 different kinds of fruit juice which would cost $12 each, a glass of heavenly peppermint tea which would cost around $10. i managed to drink to peppermint tea thanks to yifan cause i was making the peppermint tea for a customer and it smelt super good so i was like "oh shit smells damn good" to no one in particular behind the bar, then yifan was like "smell good got what fuck? must taste it" then he just like poured one cup out then then refilled the teapot with hot water.

whoa and that's about the end of it. shucks i really lead an uneventful life D:

ok i shall pretend i'm forgiven by whoever is was still pissed at me and post about wycf
                              fun =/= satisfying
well undeniably it was FUN and a new experience, wonderful to hear the improvement in the festival choir, but kinda weird that everyone was peculiarly soft during the actual concert. and i don't understand why people hate "inditing" cause it's a wonderful song, different music taste i guess, prolly why a majority likes "everlasting" apart from me O:.

altos/altoes still have the best part to sing though :D not only cause it's like emotionally satisfying to get one of the hardest parts in the song and also truthfully from an ex-alto to another, alto is really important in any song cause it locks the chord in and gives the overall sound the colour the song demands, along with the tenors. i bet sherman (my new breast friend in wycf/victoria alto) will agree muchly with me :D

HAHAHA oh yeah kwokyeong dennis shu syafiq and i crashed the VIP lounge before the concert and was there around half the time screwing around having fun like playing bridge and playing sadistic games in front of st.margaret's who co-incidentally is the first person i met who didn't believe a guy could reach sing sop

haha kinda got a bit high after the concert was just going around doing nonsense.

got to know the name of a mixed blood like me only she's more mixed cause i'm only 1/4 bruneian but she's 1/2 chinese and 1/2 super chapalang-rojak o_o
the BK double mushroom swiss wide burger is super good, btw :D

also got wind that chorale's performance last night was really good, glad the wycf rehearsals that i ponned were put into good use

Dear World Youth Choral Festival Choir members, members of the organizing committee, and all those whom I have offended in one way or another:

It has been brought to my knowledge recently that quite a few of you, or should I say a large number of you, have stumbled upon my blog where I posted not only derogatory comments about this festival, but also hurtful and spiteful comments aimed at the organizing committee itself. For those of you who have yet to encounter the misfortune of reading that particular post, it would be best that you remain in the dark as I am sorely embarrassed about what I have said on my blog.

I have clearly seen the error in my ways and have taken down my post. I know that I have displayed more than what people call “arrogance”, but also disrespect and disregard of the feelings of the organizing committee and you, the festival choir. To be honest with you, I originally posted that post as a joke, never ever intending to hurt or harm anyone in anyway, but after reflecting upon my foolish actions I realize I have not only done something stupid, but I might also have harmed the many people who have read my blog. This only goes to show my utter superficiality as well as absence of humility, and I have grown to realize that I should always think twice before acting on impulse.

I have thought a lot about this issue and here’s my take on it. I know this apology will not extend so as to cover all those whom I have hurt emotionally, and I do not expect in the least that all of you or any of you to forgive me for what I have most idiotically done. However, I do hope that you will at least be able to forgive others from now on who have negatively affected you for if there is one thing I have learnt being in a choir, it would be that a choir isn’t made up of individuals singing; it is made up of individuals who come together to sing as a team and it is vital that in order to push ourselves and the choir to the best we can be, there be strong bonds forged between its members.

Despite what I have said and posted on my blog, I have realized how much we have grown and mature together to produce the sound that we make now, and I have faith that we can do even better and produce the best we can on our concert on Saturday. I also have realized after re-reading and thinking a lot about what I said in my blog post that akin to what I have mentioned about a choir being a team, the reason why we sounded so bad when we first came together would be that we had yet to familiarize ourselves with each other and be able to work together. I have shown arrogance and superficiality beyond belief and have said things that I sorely regret. I have also realized how reluctant I was to get out of my comfort zone and mix around with the participants of this festival, and it really is a mistake on my part, as till date all the people I have interacted with are amongst the nicest people I will have the fortune to meet in my lifetime.

By posting nonsense as I have, I have not only tarnished my own name, but also the name of my school, my choir and my friends. I kindly beseech you to not hold it against anyone else but I, and I intend to bear full responsibility for my actions. I originally intended to pull out of this festival, but I realize that by doing that I would only be evading the problem and not solving it. Instead I have decided to put in my all into this festival and respect it for what it is. I hope you do not have a problem with my decision.

I also note that there is a blog which has quoted my blog post in question and I do hope you may forgive the blogger too.

I apologize as well as on behalf of other people who have hurt any of you in general, be it said or typewritten. I have already spoilt my personal image and I do not have the audacity to hope to repair that image in your hearts by apologizing. Once again, I am really sorry and I regret my actions and I hope you can forgive everyone involved, if not, everyone excluding me.

wycf festival choir is awesome pawsome. the pure blasting of each individual member is so fervent that every one ranging from bass to tenor have their veins and tendons sticking out of the their necks whilst the girls/guys in sop and alto have eyebrows that threaten to disappear as they sing as loud as possible.

lim yau is sexcellent though, i'm not sure why one as renowned as him took the task of conducting for the festival.

today was definitely a new experience for me, firstly cause i've never performed in VCH with such an empty audience, and where the audience was not much interested in performances going on. secondly i realise there are loads of choir's who have super nice concert attires, such as one which had a translucent silk muffler over a white gown which looked delicious.

oh yeah hahha i just remembered how the teacher in charge (ms sim i think <_<) needed to last minute kope a representative for woodlands primary school to collect a token of appreciation and since i was standing in front she pulled me then she was like "ok lah you do you do"
and then i was like pointing at kwok yeong and said "huh primary school he more suitable right" and she looked then said "yah hor ok lah you go you go"

best :D a J2 guy pretending to be a primary school guy lol

i take back everything about killing the blog i realise it's avoiding the problem and not solving the core which is my attitude and carelessness, 正所谓:不能头痛医头,脚痛医脚,得对症下药 (deyamn! my chinese still 顶呱呱 sial!)

k super tired so i slacked alot during chorale practice and i really regret doing that cause i sang alot without technique and i think i'm going to get sore throat soon if i don't take care D:
