INTERACT CLUB CAMP OWNS.
no actually only the second day activity owned XD
so it was the amazing race

for those of you who don't know, it's a camp activity that basically requires you to like run around and look for stations where you complete tasks to get a clue to the next pit stop to do another task and it repeats over and over again until you reach the finishing station

well the interact camp one owns
but this is probably cuz i never went on an amazing race out of school before >_<

well i shall go about the whole journey of the amazing race XD

started off in school, bishan.
cuz of our superb skills in war-games the previous night, we got to leave 2 minutes earlier as we had the most number of points in the wargames XD

PIT STOP 1:
we had to solve a 5 star difficulty sudoku puzzle

this was like an excellent time waster man
we ended up second to leave behind dillan's team which like tied with us sorta through the whole race

next, we had to travel to novena mrt station, where there was...

PIT STOP 2:
-detour-
choose between 1 minute and 2 mins 30 secs.
1 minute leads to reading a passage upside down in a minute.
2mins 30 secs leads to reading a uber long passage in 2 mins 30 secs.

basically, it was undoable and was there just to waste the leading groups' time XD


we then had to travel to kembangan where we along a long stretch of road led to

PIT STOP 3:
play scissors paper stone and win 10 times in a row or win 7 in a set of 10
every chain broken/lost sets = push ups x10 per loss

basically another waste of time, and like some random group did 180 push ups XD


next, we had to travel to tampines...

PIT STOP 4:
-detour-
choose either "find" or "search"
find leads to the group finding the time of a movie from the movie teather,
search leads to the group having to find the price of an item in toys r us

waste of timmmeeeeeeeee

next we had to travel to the airport where we got held back because of a wrong answer >_<

PIT STOP 5:
take the sky train from terminal 1 to terminal 2, and count the time it takes from when the train starts moving till it stops moving completely.

like haha this was really stupid cuz we just decided to look at other people's watches as ours were confiscated XD

next from the airport, it was off to serangoon bus interchange

anyways... FLAG DAY :D
i'm officially in love with flag days man.
the next time the RI has one i'm SO going to participate.
i mean it (for once)


well it started off with one boring morning when me yifan and elias decided to go for the special olympics flag day.
elias needs the CIP hours, and me, as an excellent friend decided to accompany him.
and yifan as an excellent friend decided to accompany me to accompany elias.


so yesterday was flag day lah.

INTERESTING EVENT (1)
i met elias' brother in the MRT

so i was the first guy to reach bishan.
wanted to buy mccafe cappucino, but saw DAMN LOTS of random students inside, so i decided against it and bought nescafe latte canned coffee and then went to school.
then yifan called and asked me to wait after i crossed the traffic lights.
then i did hardgay pose across the road just for kicks XD


yeah.
so then we went to collect our tins blah blah sign up blah blah yeah.
we were allocated to the area of AMK
then elias noticed something.
in the licencse permit we were given,
we were permitted to go ISLANDWIDE.
which basically meant only no sentosa.
which meant we could break the norms and go to some random place like khatib or woodlands where nobody would be.
but we didn't (awwwwww...)


so we took 88 to amk, roamed amk hub for a while and decided it was stupid seeing so many people were there,
and so we headed for the MRT station.
on the way elias and us got some donations but...

a man elias asked for donations said 'later'

like,
WHOA
you'll donate if we find you again later? XD
so moving on we stationed ourselves at the MRT station linkway and sorta harrassed paserbys for donations XD

then we got bored, except elias who apparently saw lots of hot girls XD

so we decided to go buy bubble tea, where we saw many other collectors like us, only they were adults :D

then,

we met this crazy woman.
as in
SERIOUSLY CRAZY.


like at first she went and approached us.
then obviously we stopped cuz we thought she was going to donate right?
then she took a sticker and then she launched into a talk about police surrounding her int bangkok bank because she shot one of the bank tellers.
like

WHAT????

then she said that the siam bank had trouble with her too.
then she was like

"must report me to police ah! i'm crazy one you know?"

and then we were all like O_O niceeeeeeeee
then she asked us

"what school are you from"

lucky i said chua chu kang sec man >_<
or else later we all kena rape or something i dunno O_O
(sorry to all chua chu kang sec ppl it just popped in my head at that instant >_<)
well
then she said

"oh near there got OCBC bank right? tell them to be careful"

then i was like

"yah near there got POSB and UOB also. you can go there lah."

AND MIND YOU WE WERE HAPPILY DRINKING BUBBLE TEA THEN :D

yeah then she started talking something about a crazy cow having two legs dropping off and then three legs dropping off and leaving the cow with one leg or something and she started laughing like crazy.

and being crazy bastards,
we laughed like her and walked away.




thinking back it was quite scary lah.
she had like foam at the edges of her mouth >_<

anyways moving on,we went back to sch and yeah. that's about it.


and yay :D
our acapella busking group is almost there, comprising me, yishu, yifan, daniel, yuxin, kangjie, ian, and probably benjy.

but i think we missed the signing up deadline i like totally have to confirm with daniel. (the other one. lol XD)

i failed my 5 stations which = physical training for the next few weeks >:D

but my hand feels damn weird now lah... like some weird ball o_O
it cracked when i was doing pull ups then it went all jiggly and i was hanging with one hand D:

Amazing.
That’s the only word I can use to describe the level of technology in this place, and the amazingly huge amounts of monies they have. What I always thought of a terrorist (black, dirty, militant, and violent) was proved wrong to such an extent that I myself was shocked.
I was treated with comfort, a room to myself, a TV monitor that had access to where my family is at the exact moment, with full sound! I’m assuming they have the whole country rigged with these little cameras and microphones and bugs and signal trackers and who knows what else? I’m not approving what the terrorists are going to do; even though I’ve got a rather shrewd idea I rather not put it down in pen and paper. I have my own bathroom and I’m allowed to roam the whole of the terrorist base. The reason I’m allowed to do this is probably because the security is so tight.
Still what shocks me most is that how long the terrorists have already been spying and tracking us professionals down, and how much they actually know about us. I’m not surprised if they have easy access to anyone in the whole world. Such is the extent in the lax in our protection of our own privacy. as I have said and always will say that this is due to the people’s want of freedom and the only way to stop this infringement of privacy is to work together with the government.
This marks the start of my new life, in this new world, in this new place.

What a tiring day. I had to conduct 3 consecutive lectures on disarming for the new recruits. Imagine repeating the same thing over and over again! But there was one outstanding recruit, Private Johnson. I have taken a liking to him, maybe I should ask him to entail into our department, but on to more important things. I knocked off at around 11 tonight, and on my way home I received this strange call from a certain Sterlin. He asked for a meeting the day after tomorrow at 2am. Should I go? It is rather disturbing that I received a call at this time of the year, what with the recent terrorist hijack of the fiber optic cables recently and the security electric fields on the airbase hacked through and the warhead parts stolen. I haven’t told anyone anything yet, but Sterlin does seem to know a lot about me and what I do. Let’s wait and play his game then. Let’s see what he wants. I just hope my family doesn’t get involved in this threat. I should report this case tomorrow to my colleagues of the National Bureau.

I fear for my life now. I was just having lunch at the cafeteria when I saw the news. Sterlin had acted. And he made sure I knew about it. He had bombed the public library right up my home 42 Pelrin street. Do I sense a hint of taunt by the way he used a bomb? Was he trying to imply that if I made the wrong choice tomorrow by not meeting him he would bomb more areas? Using bombs against a bomb specialist. What is his plan?
Who is Sterlin?
Most importantly, why me?
I had concealed my identity as a bomb specialist at the NMB as well as I could, how did he manage to profile me so well to know exactly what I did at the NMB?

It’s them. I knew it. Terrorists have finally come recruiting. I’m not the first one. It started with the disappearance of top FBI forensics scientist Jennifer Horowitz after her secret xanax addiction was leaked to the media. It followed with other professionals that the National Bureau suspected were useful to the terrorists. Of course, we didn’t know that the terrorists were behind the disappearances, but it was an intelligent guess. Which proved right. Sterlin said he knew what I did, and he said that they needed me. And they knew about how my lawyer’s degree was forged. And they knew how I used to embezzle money from my law firm before I turned to the National Military Bureau. They said they were going to kill Vicky and Evinne. It wasn’t coincidence. They knew how Evinne is Vicky and my heart and soul. I have to leave.

Evinne got sent to the hospital for juvenile rape. When I saw the state my darling was in the hospital, it was pure rage that I felt. Sterlin had tracked my daughter down, knew that she loved the dark alley shortcut which got her home 20 minutes early and judging by the cuts on her back, she knew her age, her birthday and her full name. the name that we called her but nobody else knew. This is not right. I finally understand how deep and dark the terrorists go to get us professionals to rub shoulders with them and join their ranks. It’s individual freedom that makes us so susceptible to these attacks. We’re becoming a socialist state, and with more freedom comes more danger. It’s the whole balancing equations thing: to increase something, one must sacrifice something of equal value, and in this case we’re talking about freedom versus security. Evinne has already been targeted, I need to protect Vicky. I have to leave and join them, despite how much I don’t want to.

It’s the third day already and I have come up with more lies than I had ever made since I was young. My only regret left is Vicky and Evinne, especially since Evinne is in the hospital now, and I can’t spend time with her. Vicky is strong and I believe in her, but Evinne is just a girl! There are a million things I want to tell them in the remaining days I have left with society, but I just can’t bring myself to say it. Not that I should.

He told me “No communication with them or they die.” How did he know in the first place that I was just writing in you that I wanted to tell them I was leaving? He must have bugged this whole place. Most importantly I can’t tell Vicky nor Evinne that they are being watched and spied on! Someone save me from this madness…

I’ve been thinking these few days. Freedom is the root of all us professionals being put in imminent danger in the new future. The people want freedom, and the government gives it to them. Yet this freedom brings danger as in my case where the government no longer gives much of a damn on how we do things at home. The terrorists are undeniably smart, but evil will never win. Are you reading this, Sterlin? You will never win. I might join you, and so will others, but it won’t belong before the people sense the danger and slide along side with the government. It won’t be long till the people understand the need to protect their privacy and not to get exploited like I did. Evil never does win. I’ll be leaving this place 3 days in advance and stay in a motel till I go terrorist. The government should do something about this now. The people might not like it at first, but it might be too late if the people discover this danger themselves. Goodbye, Vicky. Goodbye, Evinne.
