i refer to 我报's report & follow-up report:
http://myepaper.mypaper.sg/ebook/web_php/fvbrowserjs.php?urljs=http://myepaper.mypaper.sg/ecreator/sphopf/ep300108cnd_opf_files/ep300108cnd.js&ver=Gen
(page 1 and page 8)
all i can say is that there's a fine line between elitist and having school pride. elitism is a personal thing where you place yourself higher than others because of something which you have and the other party does not own. having school pride means that we have fervent passion for a school.
a school does not breed elitism, nor does it want her students to use her as an ego-booster. we are proud of being Rafflesians because of the acheivements it houses, it's community, and whatever reason we all have to love being in the Raffles family. we are proud to be able to contribute, to bring our school to greater heights.
maybe the students from other schools should work harder to acheive something for their school so they can be as proud of their schools as we are of ours.
unfortunately i can't say anymore since this is a public blog and i can't express my displeasure of 我报 reporting such an article. maybe they should get their facts right about us not doing "public service" and stuff. whatever happened to our upcoming community day? whatever happened to our chinese new year dinner hosting for old folk homes? whatever happened to our service learning research projects? whatever happened to our interact club which is always planning stuff and having our various different ongoing services? i don't even want to re-read the whole report and spot all the errors they have made in the report.

i guess i should just announce this place dead officially than rather leave all my fans hanging O:
unless there's a real need i won't be posting here (nor anywhere else for that matter)
basically i've finally decided to take a step forward from all these stuff and move on with my life, my studies, my music, and hopefully become someone that will leave you saying: "hey he's changed! but he's still the awesome, handsome, smart, sexy, strong, cute, powerful, wonderful, adorable, smashing, talented, appealing, attractive guy i always liked (:"
i'll be tagging on the tagboard though you can like talk to me there if you want to XD alternatively add my msn which is quite obvious over thataway >_>
to end things off i realise i have 3 million and 7 ways of laughing and the tone, pitch, rhythm, duration and infection-intensity vary between each one and each one is different on what makes me laugh O:
for example if you crack a racist i'll give my
Bark of extreme gay-ness™which sounds abit like this: "gi-HAH-heehehe"
yeah and if i see something funny eg: someone getting wedgied i'll give my
Snort of a September Holiday beginning™which sounds a little like: "PFF-ackk *chokes*"
it's the same laugh i gave when some weird person said this to me on MSN "SEPTEMBER HOLS ARE COMING :D" when it was 3 days in the sept. hols
if you get a chance to hang out with me more i'll probably discover all my weird laughs depending on circumstance XD
Rhapsody in
Blue is crazy-gay-fag difficult to play T_T
with this check at regular intervals of probably 2 years XD
till then.
